Musovu Primary School is getting a new building!

Four new classrooms are being built at Musovu Primary School. One of them will be fitted out as a smart classroom.

Three years ago, Musovu Primary School had 770 pupils. That figure has now risen to around 1,200. In grades 1 to 3, lessons have to be held in shifts: some pupils attend in the morning, others in the afternoon. Even so, the classrooms are severely overcrowded.

The headteacher has asked us for support. We, in turn, have successfully approached the German organisation Fly & Help, which has found a donor to fund the construction of four new classrooms and the purchase of computer desks, 30 laptops, a projector with a screen, and the installation of high-speed internet access. The IT training for teachers will begin as soon as the computer room is operational.

In a big ceremony, the foundation stone was laid by the donor in February..
