Tim Gengnagel

Senior Investment Advisor at Tony Blair Institute

Tim Gengnagel currently works as a Senior Investment Advisor at the Tony Blair Institute for Global Change, advising governments across Africa on strategic investment projects and public-private partnerships. Prior to his role at the institute, Tim served as a Division Manager at the Rwanda Development Board where he headed the Deal Accelerator, a unit tasked with developing new investment opportunities and commercial structuring of public-private partnerships. He further founded a solar power company in Tanzania and consulted the Albanian government on Special Economic Zones. Tim holds a BA in Philosophy & Economics from the University of Bayreuth and an MPA in International Development from Harvard Kennedy School.
